Collection: Cacao - Ceremonial Grade
Australian ceremonial cacao beans
A little bit about Cacao and why Ceremonial grade is different from the rest.
Ceremonial grade Cacao is a grade above the rest. Every other chocolate product that you will buy (and that includes raw organic powder) has had the cacao butter and fibers separated and many elements stripped from the product. Ceremonial Grade Cacao has had minimum tampering of the beans integrity. The bean is lightly roasted (very important part of the process), de-shelled and ground with a stone grinder. Once it arrives to Australia from Peru I have it melted at a low temperature and molded into hearts. The molding process does not in any way alter the integrity and magic of the Cacao.
It is the magic of the WHOLE bean!
*Cacao is a gentle plant medicine.*
HIGHEST QUALITY PERUVIAN CRIOLLO CACAO
BEANS FROM SOUTH AMERICA
This Cacao is an ancient Peruvian strain called Criollo. Our Cacao comes from 35 different small farms including some tribal regions where the Cacao grows wildly on the property in the hills of Peru. We would rather this than one large majorly cultivated plantation. Peru has absolute optimum conditions for wild growing Cacao!
This Cacao is Certified Organic.

Set up a feel good space with your favorite things i.e, candles, incense, oracle cards, crystals, music and a journal.
Close your eyes and go within, breath into your heart space and intentionally welcome Mama Cacao into your heart. You can say quietly or out loud "Mama Cacao, I invite you to entwine with my spirit in ceremony and guide me in anyway you think I need, help me _______."
Speak to her and ask her to help you with anything you need, i.e a project, gaining more wisdom, understanding, a deadline, communication, creativity.
Set clear intentions so that she can know how to work with you.
Remember that she works "with" you not "for" you.
It is nice to also journal as you may get little messages of wisdom during this time of ceremony.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding.
You can still drink Cacao during pregnancy but in a smaller dose- there is caffeine and can raise blood rate but lower blood pressure. So have half a heart instead of a full size.
During breastfeeding, because Cacao has a small dose of caffeine in it, it can keep your baby awake for a bit longer so make sure you have it in smaller doses still like half a heart and drink after your baby has gone down for a nap so that it doesn't affect their sleep times.
Does cacao have caffeine?
YES it is caffeinated but is slower releasing and at a lower amount than what coffee has. The effect is VERY different to coffee. However it still has caffeine in it.
Is there any medications that can cause problems with Cacao?
Anti-depressants have a similar chemical component to Cacao so it is recommended to have a very small dose of Ceremonial Cacao if you are taking this drug. Please speak with your Dr if you are concerned.
*WARNING*
If you have high blood pressure do not drink ceremonial grade cacao unless discussed with Dr.
