Open Studio time at Deep Blue Ceramics is perfect for people who have taken one of our courses or workshops before and therefore have some clay skills and knowledge.
This time is self directed and self paced, perfect for those who are practicing what they’ve learnt in class, developing their own style or just want some fun playing with clay in a group. Bring along your ideas we will be able to help you bring them to life.
Your teacher will be available to ask questions and seek guidance but Open studio is not structured as a ‘class’ that will be ‘taught.’
You will have access to our fully equipped studio:
• Pottery Wheels
• Slab Roller
• Extruder
• Table for handbuilding
• plaster moulds
• many and various hand tools
• carving tools
Clay, firing and use of our glazes is an additional cost and can be purchased during your session, subject to availability.
